Turn-Key Financing
There is no need to obtain construction financing when you build with Preferred Homes. If you are building one of our standard plans on a lot which we own, we will finance the home ourselves. With a standard Offer to Purchase agreement in place, all you need to do is arrange for your financing as if you were buying any existing home. With the exception of a small earnest money deposit, nothing is due until the day you close on your home. We will also accept Offers with a home sale contingency, easing the pressure of selling your existing home.

Quality Home Designs
When you build with Preferred Homes, you have access to our library of many popular and functional home plans. These plans have been designed with everyday living in mind. We’ve asked ourselves what things our customers appreciate in a house—a nice view from the front door and a place to hang your coat when you arrive, an efficient kitchen with a breakfast bar and a pantry, and a low-maintenance exterior—and made sure to include them in our plans. We’ve also included as standard many features other builders don’t, such as decorative plant shelves, an ice and water line for your refrigerator, a concrete drive, fine grade and seed of your yard.

After you contract to build with Preferred Homes, you’ll attend just two meetings in our Janesville office to choose the color and style of several interior and exterior items in your home.
